[ I'm assuming, at some point, Souji will be headed for the kitchen. But on the way he will find a friend in the way of his path!!! It looks up at him curiously, long ears tilting.

[ WHERE IS SOUJI. Alphinaud is off looking for him. ]

[WELL THAT SURE was a trial... Rough shit! Kazu seems like a sweet kid, and considering he'd apparently already been through the possession wringer once, this seems Very Unfair In General. Also unfair to sweet Hope! Everything about this is just bad in general.

Souji is smiling as he approaches Alphinaud, but it's a soft sort of expression, somewhat subdued from his usual displays of energy.]

--Are you busy right now? I could use a hand in the kitchen if you aren't.

[HEWWO ALPHINAUD... Well. That sure was a Sunday, wasn't it... Whack. At some point after the heals and/or generally tiredly trying to patch themselves up, Souji is going to seek Alphinaud out with Saizo in tow. This time he's holding his pig like a little safety blanket... Though he, at least, seems more or less back to his usual even temperament. No more panicking! No more sudden fits of murder!

Whenever he spots their sweet local cannibal nudist, wherever he is, Souji will raise his free hand and call out:]

Alphinaud-san... How are you faring?

[At some point after that hellish trial, Souji's going to go around to make sure everyone in this crusty mansion is doing okay. WHERE'S THE LAD, he's here with a tray balanced on one hand and Saizo following dutifully behind.]

[WELL. Bucky lost part of his arm and Hope lost a wholeass eye, but, like. As far as things could have gone... That wasn't too bad! Mostly! More than anything, he's just relieved to be freed from the endless shrieking, god. He's going to be spending the next while helping with cleaning and reorganizing and such, but he'll be sure to stop by and check on their star Virgo stand-in sooner rather than later.]

Al-kun, how are you feeling? Do you need anything? Tea, maybe...?

[Now that their kitchen is FREE AGAIN.]

[There are so many hijinks constantly happening and lord does he wish to REST... Unfortunately, there's no rest for the weary!! Because some miscreant has left a BOOK outside of the library, and these two punks happen to be within the vicinity when its evil book magic activates...

SOUJI DOESN'T EVEN HAVE TIME TO SAY HELLO he's literally in the middle of raising his hand when suddenly, they're somewhere else! if u have a preference for what story theyre yoinked into the world is ur oyster :KICKY:]

...I could have sworn I put away all of the books that I found yesterday.

[Souji just sitting here thinking about how he loves all of the dead people and he's going to be sad to see any of them go EVEN THOUGH IT'S A GOOD THING... It's a good thing!! It's a good thing, and so, Souji is approaching everyone who volunteered their name with cheer, and a tray of snackies and tea.

Alphinaud in particular gets a bright smile, considering he's been one of the longest-stayed among them and Souji is quite fond.]

Al-kun! Would you like to have tea with me?

[ Later that night!! This guy definitely spent like, an hour soaking in the hottest bath ever, but once he's done he comes wandering back into the kitchen, hair still damp and tied back into a loose ponytail, and has definitely changed out of what he had been earlier. Time for cozy. ]

There you are, not that I'd think to find you anywhere else.

[At some point during the lobby festivities, Souji will make his way over to Alphinaud, smiling brightly.]

I wonder if I could interest you in one final tea with me?
