I believe warrior is something of a strong word, here... I would prefer not to fight, should it be unnecessary. However, I am a mage, and 'tis my magicks that I wield when I have no other choice.

So you hail from a world without magic as well? That is always strange for me to hear, I confess, for 'tis so deeply ingrained in mine.

I can imagine so! But yes, we have nothing like that, really... The closest thing that I can think of is Saitou-san's vision. He's very attuned to the presence of spirits, and can read the record of death.

... Mayhap so! It is my understanding that such worlds rely more on technological advancements, however.

Oh... Most likely, yes! My time is quite before many of these advancements, but I've learned a lot about them. Things like electricity and cars and the like.

So even before then... Well, there's certainly a lot to learn from those around you, then. Even now I oft find myself surprised by what I hear.

For a while, it honestly felt as though I was learning something new every day! But I find myself in a similar position quite often, even though so much time has gone by... Some things truly sound like magic, even though they're technology.

i refuse to write out a prose post for anime pig backstory with this tone that goes all over the place, but the general emotions are a not-really-accepting acceptance of Duty and Destiny (because sometimes one simply does not consider the things they don't like, so it's a non-issue), and a lot of emotions of "SAME HAT!" over this extremely loyal pig. I'm certain that it won't be all that bad! [Unless he has magical "everything I touch in the kitchen turns to ash"-itis, and even then Souji will still try to be... polite...] Do others usually prepare it for you? Now that I'm thinking about it, I know one or two people who would be completely hopeless if they were asked to make their own tea...

Erm... Usually, yes. Growing up, we've had servants at home, and back at the Rising Stones, there was usually a few around who were better suited to the likes of preparing food and drink than I.

Ah... Goodness, you must have been fairly high up, then! [To have RICH PEOPLE THINGS like SERVANTS, damn.] But fortunately, I've found most people can pick up things like cooking and tea-brewing quite easily, even if they don't have a lot of practice with it. It's not so difficult, as long as you have good guidance at the start and common sense!

And I do like to believe I have enough of that.
