[THE STAFF, THE LIVING, THE DEAD... Souji's so fond or at least positive-neutral about like literally everyone here except for Qi Rong and Luo Binghe, absolutely hilarious. The other shady former staff are on thin ice, too...
He's quiet for a thoughtful second after that though, before adding:] I still would have rather none of you joined me, but... In particular, I'll miss those of you that I was actually able to spend time with. It's been my greatest honor and happiness of my time here, getting to know you.

Souji's smile is sunny, because in spite of the fact that Alphinaud is apparently heading into the void and he himself expects to fight swords to the death, and in spite of the fact that they both had to die to meet, he's also the type who's endlessly and genuinely grateful to those who enter his life and befriend him.]
Then please accept my gratitude, too! It's been a wonderful thing, getting the privilege to know a person like you. I won't miss that mansion, but it will be a little strange, being unable to come say hello whenever.
