[ Sometime after execution ends, Alphinaud can be found in the seating of the courtyard. He has tea at the ready, naturally, and is jotting down notes upon a notepad.
There's a carbuncle nearby too, probably nibbling at a flower. ]
[Estelle's out here, looking at some kind of large paper in her hands. After a few minutes, she rolls it up carefully, and regains some awareness of her surroundings... at which point she notices Alphinaud.
The carbuncle gets a curious look, but it's him she approaches.]
[Hey Alphinaud, what's up? We're at the concierge, and Estelle is looking through the brochures with wide eyes. She turns when she realizes he's nearby.]
Oh, Alphinaud! ... Have you seen any of these places before?
[Wow we're suckers, we went through a door and here we are in:
6. You open the door and find yourself in the middle of a city. The sky is dark, with a myriad of familiar and unfamiliar constellations dotting it; the city is full of shadowy, faceless figures, though many of them bear a striking resemblance in silhouette and mannerisms to people you know. Perhaps more concerning, though, is the small hole that seems to be opening up underfoot; it engulfs small objects, becomes bigger, and moves on to engulf larger ones. Try not to get dragged in. Should you manage to navigate the city and run into the revolving doors over which a sign reading "STARLIGHT HOTEL" hangs, you will find yourself in the hallway again, out of breath but otherwise unharmed. Should you be swallowed up by the hole, however, you will find yourself falling into an endless void for what feels like an eternity, before landing hard in the hallway, the screams of the shadowy people you almost-recognized in the city filling your ears for the next half hour. Only four minutes have passed. ]
Oh... it's one of those... [She probably should have known this would be one of those random-door-rooms.]
This doesn't seem so bad, though... [She gazes up at the night sky and the tall buildings of the city.]

[ He looks up, finally pulled away from his thoughts. ]
Oh, good afternoon. Merely some notes, is all. 'Tis always wise to keep track of important on-goings.

Alphinaud... I'm so glad you made it back.
Have you been well? I heard a lot of dangerous things happened on the other side...

[ yaaay ]
Aye, worry not—I am as hale and whole as can be, and I am glad to see you have remained the same as well.

What was it like over there? I heard you were all in a mansion together?
