I was born with the ability to use magic. I know it's different in some places, but where I'm from, that's almost unheard of. I studied magic theory so I could control it better, but a lot of my skills are more intuitive than knowledge-based.

So I see. That is not so strange a story whence I hail, either—that while most of us are born with the potential to manipulate our aether with study and application, you could also possibly find someone like you.

But it still requires study to fully master, aye. You needn't think less of yourself for it, however, for you need only time and practice.
