They have been given a reason to insist we are gone forever, if you have not been made aware yet. However, to say we cannot be contacted at all is a different matter entirely.
I take that to mean you have not heard the recording yet; at your earliest convenience, I would advise you to ask Souji or Sieghart about it.
The short explaination is, however, that the staff have been told by our generous host themselves that there is no way for us to ever return, for they have intentionally left out such methods in this so-called game of theirs. Unfortunately, this is the story they are forced to tell. Whether there is any truth to this or not, we do not know.
But we've already figured out that the host's idea of "entertainment" is keeping us frustrated and upset. It could be just another way of making sure we stay in that kind of mindset, you know?
