[ he gets a brief smile before kazu gestures at the pictures! a pair are mounted nearby, one rather peaceful while the other is decidedly not. ]
There was a week where they made us talk about people or stuff we knew from home, kind of like a bonding exercise? And as we talked about them, pictures would appear in the museum. I wasn't really in my right mind at the time, but it's still nice to see them again, you know?
It's a pretty cool place, right?! Waaaaay nicer when refracting isn't a thing, too. You might have liked the color magic we had, too, but it hasn't been working for me for some reason.
Everyone here had colors! One primary that stayed the same, and a few complementary colors that changed from time to time, and each of them came with a different ability.
Heliotrope was my primary, so I could make illusions! Amber meant you could make warm, soothing items, Verdant could make food, Sunrise could give a littel boost to any of the others - there was a whole spectrum!
Huh... That is quite fascinating! Indeed, I would be curious to see how it worked firsthand! Alas, it would seem that all magicks have been stripped from our person this time.
I'd totes show you if I could! Heliotrope was fun to play around with, sometimes, and Amber was supes useful when you needed something for your nerves. It's a shame it's all gone, but probs for the best, though - you can't refract if you can't put your colors to use in the first place, right?
As far as the prism goes? It was a color imbalance in someone that made them act strangely. That's what made most of the people here kill - their colors got out of whack, and it made them do things they normally wouldn't.
But my guess is we'll be fine without access to the colors.
I think there must have been some kind of order to it, but I couldn't tell you exactly what. Like, Heliotrope was full of creative people, and Crystalline's were all really smart, and Scarlet had people who were suuuper passionate about something or other.

[ Alphinaud glances at the pictures mounted on the wall, but it isn't long before he looks back up to Kazunari. ]
Much how it is always pleasantly nice to see you.

kazu: awww he's so nice! ]
Hehe, right back atcha~! It's always nice to see a friend!
What do you think of the prism so far? Better than camp, or no?

[ he curls a hand beneath his chin, as if giving this serious thought. ]
More than aught else, I was simply thinking... that we must truly be within a museum, for you are a real work of art.
[ this didn't answer the question. anyway, ]

I have been known to appreciate them, yes.
Is there many of it around here? ... Not that I mean to distract you from your friends, of course! You deserve that time, as well.

[ grins! ]
I don't mind showing you around, though! It's not like they're actually here, but you are.

Then full glad I would be to have you as my guide. I am quite intrigued by this prism, I must say.

I wonder what yours would have been, if you were here with us...? Maybe Crystalline? You're the smart type; you'd have fit right in with them!
