Before school started, every year our world would get attacked by the moon. We'd lose a couple wizards sometimes.

There's nobody on the moon. It's just the moon.

... Well! That is—surprising, but I am glad to hear you were able to put an end to it and begin the road to recovery.

You don't have a moon 'causing you trouble?

Only in a sense. It was more like what was within the moon that gave issue, in both cases.

... Both? What's in your moons?

[sageguidance]

Well... The first time, it turned out what we thought was a lesser moon was not, in fact, ever a moon at all. It was built as a prison for an ancient primal, long long ago, that had eventually been released from its cage.

The other moon was, at our world's creation, devised to be yet another prison, for yet another primal.

[battling]

It's fuckin' weird it happened twice. You sure that the other ones are empty? Normal, non-threatening moons?

There is only one remaining, fortunately, and I assure you it is within good hands. Betwixt the watcher that resides there and the Loporrits, were there trouble brewing, they would most assuredly inform us with haste.

The watcher? It's a good to have people to rely on when it comes to that sort of stuff. Y'all got communication going?

With the Loporrits, most certainly. As of recently we have been working closely with them, thankfully.

Is the Loporrit not a watcher? That a different thing?

[sageguidance]

To speak true, I've not met this watcher, for it were my other comrades who made it to the moon. From their reports, however, I were told they were the overseer of the primal's prison. The Loporrits, on the other hand, were responsible for guiding the people of our star to a world anew in the event the primal ever broke free.

Met the Loporrits though? They helped out with your other "moons"?

Oh, no, that was a different mess entirely. Back then, we were not privy to the Loporrits' existence.

[battling]

Your moon situation sounds more complicated than mine somehow.

Believe you me, I wish it were not, but the moon is now the least of our worries. And may it remain that way for the both of us.

That... is one reason, yes. One that is my primary focus now.

What's happening at home?

[sageguidance]

To put it simply—the end of our star as we know it.

We are doing what we can to avert it, of course, but as you can imagine the timing of this could not have possibly been worse.
