[ He goes to disappear off in the kitchen, and some minutes later returns with two cups, offering one to Emet. It's earl grey! ]

It is not often such a temperature, in my home.

What was it like? More moderate, I presume.

Very much so. It was not forever mild, by any means, but I did not regularly need to suffer the chill.

The snow from yesterday seems to have subsided, at least, so you need not suffer it any further here as well. Though it grew quite rough, I still must thank you for accompanying me on such a sudden idea.

It was worth the attempt, I believe, and despite the hardship-- well. There is some ease to be found in feeling as if one has at least tried.

I could certainly have done without the lightning, however.

Lightning during a snow storm is certainly new for me, too...

But now we know what to expect, should we ever wish to take another lengthy stroll, yes?
